Étude Op. 10, No. 12 ("Revolutionary"), very dynamic and dramatic. It expresses Chopin's sorrow after the fall of the November Uprising.
Prelude Op. 28, No. 4, called "Suffocation", has a very bright harmony. Chopin asked that it would be played at his funeral together with
Mozart's Requiem.
Concerto op. 11, contains "the most beautiful Polish note" - a fragment that particularly reflects the Polish style.
